Illustrious Potentate - Ed Propst

I sincerely hope everyone is looking forward to 2009 as much as I am. What a great time to be a Nemesis Shriner. If you have not seen the new property on Watson Road (Parkersburg, WV) that includes a picnic shelter, unit building and a new 10,000 square foot shrine center please stop by for a visit. Our goal this year is to complete the interior, parking lot and landscaping as quickly as possible so this property may be used by our fraternity, family members and this community. We have many activities scheduled for this year focusing on our purpose of “HAVING FUN AND HELPING KIDS”. Please check out the calendar pages for upcoming activities. In 2008 Nemesis Shriners made over 170 trips to Lexington (orthopedic), Cincinnati (burns) and Chicago (cleft lip palate) hospitals to help local children. THANK YOU to our volunteer “Roadrunner” drivers for giving their time so unselfishly. The Nationwide Tour Players' Cup will be back in Bridgeport at the Pete Dye Golf Club. The tour has made this event beneficial to the community again this year through their "Tickets Fore Charity" program. This means that the proceeds from the tickets sold will benefit local charities. Your Nemesis Transportation Fund is again one of the charities that will benefit from ticket sales. This is a simple program, and does not cost you anything extra.
